Smith 'n Barber Golf School

Both Jim Smith and Jim Barber bring impressive playing backgrounds to the table along with a combined 50 years of teaching experience. Jim Smith is a former player of the year in the North Florida Section and the West Central Chapter of the PGA and Jim Barber played 7 years on the PGA tour.

With the advancement in technology…it would be easy to assume that we are playing better golf than in years past. Unfortunately, this is not the case, as scores indicate otherwise. Our instruction is built around this very point with its sole purpose to improve scores. We do not want a student bound with a multitude of swing thoughts preventing this from happening. We work with your physical skills and teach you how to use them.

PGA Professionals, Jim Smith and Jim Barber will customize a development and practice program for you based on your physical skills and limitations. Choose from the following instruction options to get the most from your golf.

In addition to our staff, we have PGA Professional Trish Ziegel. She
has almost 20 years of teaching experience and played competitively
for 6 years on the futures tour (LPGA Developmental Tour). Although she
reaches a variety of students, she specializes with juniors and women.
